Join our park naturalist on the Farmers' High Line Canal Trail to discover the Farmer High Line Canal Trail avian diversity! We will discuss habitat, behavior, and clues for identification of all spring and year-round residents. This bird walk is intended for people with all levels of birding experience. We recommend you wear comfortable shoes and bring binoculars (our binoculars are limited). All ages must register for this class through the City of Westminster’s Activity Registration Webpage:

Join us for a fascinating evening of historical insight, conservation success stories, and live raptors to mark the centennial of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Nature’s Educators will introduce this important law and what it has meant to the survival of many endangered species. You’ll also come away with ideas on how you can make a difference by helping migratory birds in their own habitats. Last, but certainly not least, you’ll have an opportunity to meet a few live raptor ambassadors!

Uncover these answers and more by joining Nature’s Educators for a fun-filled, interactive program. From feathers to scales, eggs to live babies, you’ll learn all about how different animal moms (and even some dads) care for their young. Don’t forget your camera as everyone will have a chance to meet and touch these amazing animals!

What to Bring: Please bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. Walk up admission only. Gates open at 9 AM.
